Drools Committer

01 October 2010

I have been actively involved in BPMN 2.0 for the past months, helping (humbly) with our Eclipse BPMN 2.0 project, and refactoring the Oryx project, which we moved as a branch to github under the appellation “Process Designer”.

As I worked on those technologies, I had a look around for the best tool to run BPMN 2.0 processes. Pragmatically, Drools is the best tool out there for the job.

I discussed with the team and provided a few insights to help them with Oryx (which got me listed as a contributor without accentuation, in case you were wondering who the hell “Antoine Toulm” was).

There is still a lot to achieve. I pushed a few fixes for OSGi ; I see the team is very active on refactoring their web framework, which should prove interesting. I hope that other guys in my team help as well, and maybe integrate the Eclipse BPMN 2.0 model into Drools Flow. Stay tuned for our patches!
